 "Super-slick Eva caters to the flashpacker crowd.  There are no 24 hour parties here, just immaculate bedrooms, tip-top bathrooms and a cosy common room with fireplace.  There's also a fabulous rooftop terrace with photo-worthy city views.

"It's worth the extra couple of dollars to stay at this excellent, family-run hostel away from Darlinghurst Rd's clamour.  Rooms and common areas are colouful and clean and there's a peaceful rooftop garden with table umbrellas, greenery, BBQ area and fantastic views of The Domain.  The guest kitchen/dining room, positioned at street level, fells like a cafe and has a sociable feel, though this isn't a "party" hostel.  Free internet and wi-fi throughout.
